I have acquired some property. It’s ~725 sqft for the ground floor and about the same for the basement.
The garage? About 750 sqft... :D

Nice! And holy shit that’s a large garage.

And the garage is in the back of the property with a paved driveway...

Garage square footage house square footage means you’re doing it right

That’s a nice garage. A man with the right priorities.

Until you fill it nightly with the daily. Then it’s dumb. Unless weather dictates. And then where you live is dumb.

So many parts cars

Just make sure you get at least 4 cars

Nice! My little house is about the same size, but I just have a one car garage. But have plans in the next couple years to build a bigger one.

Screw that, more garage!

this is a dream house for me. 1 floor with basement, garage as big as house, detached. perfection

Nice! Looks like the garage has a loft, and power, too!

Second floor for the garage. Gives more headroom for a lift, plus room for a bar.

This would be around a million dollars in my zipcode. Sadly, I’m not exaggerating.
Time to start the parts car collection and get code enforcement geeks on your case.

As is tradition when you buy a new car or want to know what it will look like with certain mods you do some photoshop or ask someone else. Except this is a house and I didn’t need to be aksed.

Done right. Congrats!

You have made us all proud, Santiago.

Garage envy.
Your priorities are almost right.

I’d want them in the same structure, stacked. Extra-tall ground floor garage, with shop area. Top floor is living space. Perfect.

That home looks decidedly mid-western. Since your car has no front plate, I’m guessing not Ohio.

Niiiiiiiice!

I rented a place like that for a year. 1,100 sq ft 3CG downstairs, 1,100 sq ft 2-bed 1-bath upstairs. The house was an awful POS, but the garage was awesome. Until my hoarder roommate filled it with shit, that is.

Yes, but not 220... Yet

Yes! Good idea.
I just finished putting new wiring in my garage (I gotta get the pics off of my phone and make an Oppo post about it), and took the opportunity to put a 220 line in while I was at it. I don’t even have anything to plug in to it yet, but at least it’s pre-wired.
